NURSERY AT WARREN WOOD

For many children, Nursery is their first step into the world of education and at Warren Wood Primary School, we ensure that step is filled with joy, discovery and growth. Our Nursery which is called Snowdrop class, provides a rich and stimulating environment that is warm, welcoming and safe which helps all children feel happy, secure and ready to help children learn, develop and grow.

Children thrive here through play, exploration, experimentation and social interaction. Guided by a qualified teacher and highly skilled support staff, they engage in exciting and challenging activities that spark curiosity and foster a lifelong love of learning.

NURSERY SESSIONS

We offer both 15 hour and 30 hour funded places for up to 26 children in each session:

 

• Morning session: 8.30am to 11.30am

• Afternoon session: 12.30pm to 3.30pm

• All Day: 8.30am to 3.15pm

 

Our dedicated Nursery team work collaboratively to observe and assess each child’s progress. We document their achievements through paintings, drawings, writing or photographs using Tapestry which is our secure online learning journal. Parents and Carers can access Tapestry to stay connected with their child’s learning journey and celebrate their child's milestones.

Once a place has been offered for your child and before they can start in our Nursery, we will invite you and your child into school to meet with Mrs Lawns for a 'Nice To Meet You' meeting and a tour of our Nursery class.
